ROFL!!! Mission Accomplished (smirk) I have to admit, this semester I've come closer to dropping my classes than ever, and it wasn't even the Astronomy class that did it. The Social Psych is the one that's beating me up! That and my car breaking down, getting laid off, and my dad being rushed to the hospital with what they thought was a heart attack but later was just a pulled muscle *sigh*
It's been a loooong three weeks. On the plus side, Skyler is doing quite well this school year and I love his teacher! How's Dante's year going?
Kit--unfortunately, I lost what seemed to be a good one. Happily, I also "lost" one who seemed like he thought 101 was a huge joke. Not that it isn't sometimes, but that usually causes kids to have *such* an attitude all through the semester, and it really poisons the atmosphere for the others.
Brunn--Dante's doing great so far, much to my relief. He's also going to the Boys & Girls Club after school, which he is over the moon for. My school, on the other hand, sux this year!
I'm sorry to hear you've had so many personal setbacks. I remember the car problems I had as an undergrad single mom. Those kinds of things seem like they just somehow *sense* the people who would suffer from them the most, know what I mean? I never have car trouble now. But when I couldn't afford to fix my car? Broke down every other week. Sigh.

I'm Virgil, trying to lead my Dante through the hells of life to come out clean and happy on the other side of things. It's not as easy as I thought it would be. If you're a recovering former Jehovah's Witness, email me if you need some support.

Aww. Were they some of the more difficult ones or just the ones who pretended they knew what was going on?
