Do you know what's really sad?
When you can wear your 8 year old's flip flops. He also lifted me 6 inches off of the ground. Pretty soon he'll be looking me in the eyes. I don't want to accept this reality, may I have another, please??

Yep, I knew the day was coming, then I ran out of socks on vacation and was able to wear my 10-year-old's...sigh.

It bothers me because I'm not prepared to see him turn into a man. But I like him more the older he gets.
